品牌故事：Atlantic由兩位創辦人Ahmet Ertegün、Herb Abramson成立於1947年，1950年代開始，Atlantic紛紛加入Jerry Wexler、Nesuhi Ertegün、Arif Mardin、Tom Dowd、Joel Dorn幾位合夥人以及製作人，這幾位共同為Atlantic廠牌擔任靈魂樂與爵士樂的音樂製作，也因為有他們的加入，讓Atlantic在當時的音樂圈是個擁有舉足輕重地位的靈魂樂、爵士樂音樂代表廠牌，這幾位製作人也是公認在靈魂爵士樂中具有相當代表性的人物。50年代期間，Herb Abramson成立副牌ATCO Records、另購入當時的小廠牌Spark Records、Stax Records(1968年結束合作關係)，Atlantic步入90年代後也有了Lava Records、143 Records等廠牌加入，發展出流行、搖滾、龐克、嘻哈等…更多元化的音樂型態。
